Setting Up E-mail Using Microsoft Outlook
First open your Microsoft outlook program and go to Tools >Account Settings
This will open a window with multiple options. Please go to New
Once opened please select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP and press Next.
On the next screen please select Manually configure server settings or additional server types.
Then select Internet E-mail from the options
In this next window, fill in Your Name and E-mail Address. For the Server Information use: Account Type: IMAP Incoming Mail Server: mail.YOURWEBSITE.xx.xx (i.e mail.jamrockdesign.co.uk) Outgoing Mail Server: mail.YOURWEBSITE.xx.xx (i.e mail.jamrockdesign.co.uk) Then fill in the Username (E-mail address) and Password that you wish to use.
After you have filled in the details above, press the More Settings button.
Then the Outgoing Server tab and click the My Outgoing Server (SMTP) Requires Authentication tick box.
Go to the ‘Advanced‘ tab and make sure all the settings are set to this (see below): Then, click ‘OK‘ Then, click ‘Next‘ > ‘Finish‘ Then, click ‘Close‘ and everything should be loaded in and you will start receiving e-mails.
